 One Summer's day .....

We had a fabulous time on a photo shoot at the Dorothy Clive Gardens in August 2019 with Amy from Trove Photography accompanying us.

We approached the gardens as we wanted to en-capture the great outdoors and what better time but a hot day in the Staffordshire Countryside.

The gardens have breath taking views with segments of woodland which gives a romantic almost fairy tale feel. The theme of the shoot was Back To Nature and here at Definitive we explored the venue and decided on a Rustic and Vintage look to coincide with the landscape.

The Belvedere Pavilion was dressed for an outdoor ceremony with vintage ladders, props , birdcages  with aisle stands hosting tall Martini glasses with large flower displays.

Next we got to work with The Bryan Mayer Pavillion  which is an indoor affair, with rustic tables and hanging bunting. We dressed the tables with beautiful vintage crockery supplied by Under the brolly located in the well known Potteries in Stoke -On -Trent.

This was combined with delicate glassware filled with dusky pink roses to rustic log pieces with gold lanterns and ivory roses.

If you are looking for a venue with a relaxed woodland feel this is a lovely place to host your special day!

We were also asked by the magazine to provide some hints and tips for your big day!

Why not pick up one up and have a read of Your West Midlands Wedding Magazine available in retail stores and online now February 2020.
